Due to the remaining difficulty of bringing foreign guests to Japan, TIFF Talk Salon will be held again this year to connect domestic and international actors and filmmakers with fans.
There will be a lot of behind-the-scenes stories that you can only hear here. Unlike last year’s event, which was limited to viewers of the films, this year’s event will be available to a wider audience via YouTube. We will also accept questions before the start and during the live streaming.
(Please note that we may not be able to answer all questions due to limited time)

Q: How do I watch it?
A: Please visit the official TIFF YouTube channel to watch it.
 
Q: Is the webcast only in Japanese?
A: In addition to Japanese, simultaneous or consecutive interpretation will be provided into English. If a guest uses a foreign language other than English, that language will also be delivered when proceeding with simultaneous interpretation in English, please note that the URLs for the original audio version and the English version are different.
 
Q: What languages can I ask questions in?
A: Japanese and English interpreters will be available. Interpretation for languages other than English will be provided too.
Interpretation will be a consecutive interpreting and not a simultaneous interpretation.
 
Q: In what languages can I ask questions?
A: Questions can only be asked in Japanese and English.
 
Q: How can I ask questions to the speakers?
A: Please fill out the question form linked from “Ask the Speakers! “(During the live streaming, a link to the same question form will be placed in the video description box.
Your name can be a nickname. All other fields are optional.
Please note that we may not be able to answer all questions. You will not be able to ask questions after the live broadcast.
 
Q: Where and for how long can I view the archives?
A: It will be available on the official YouTube channel of Tokyo International Film Festival until next year’s TIFF.

Q: If the Talk Salon is cancelled, is it possible to get a refund for the related films?
A: Please note that there are no cancellations or refunds under any circumstances after the screening tickets have been purchased.
 
Q: Can I upload the content of the Talk Salon to SNS?
A: It is possible to post your impressions of the Talk Salon and screenshot images taken during the “Screenshot Time” set up during the Talk Salon for SNS. Please use the hashtag “#TIFF_TalkSalon”.
Any other filming, recording, or photographing is prohibited.
